A brief break in the rain to fool me.

Rain doesn't really come out in photos. It was raining.

Heading to Letterfrack.

landscape
Looking north towards Tully Cross.

I only got 102 km. Opted to camp at a hostel in Letterfrack rather than press on to a campsite. Hostels tend to let you use the facilities (like the kitchen, the common room etc). The result of that choice (to get dry) is that I have a big cycle tomorrow.

Forecast seems to be rain through the night and rain through the day tomorrow. Wind increasing to 34 kmph! The only positive is that by the afternoon I should be cycling east along Galway Bay so the wind should be behind me for once. My estimate is that I have 150+ km to ride tomorrow. In rain. Hills unknown.
